Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival 2016 Day 2

After Day 1 successfully done,  we geared up for AKLF Day 2. Lots of events lined up morning to evening.

So lets go for the event, First event was Jim Jam An interactive session with RJ Den
presented by Rakshak Foundation. RJ Den  from Friends 91.9FM, spoked  about how he overcame his physical challenges to live a life that is exemplary. The event was also attended by Utpal Chatterjee, poet and writer Bob D’Costa, and author Antara Banerjee. There was a special interaction between the underprivileged children from the Rakshak Foundation and the poet Bob D’Costa and author Antara Banerjee.

Crime Time

Kishwar Desai discussed crime writing across borders with Veronique Ovaldé (France), Liad Shoham (Israel), Pier Giorgio Pulixi (Italy), Barun Chanda and Victor K Ghoshe. Pier spoke about crime writing being used as a tool for investigating social problems, lawyer and writer Liad said he wrote about the corruption network in Italy. Ms Ovalde spoke about writing being synonymous with ‘solitude’, one has to ‘write and talk books.’
